The guest speaker today in my University class called “Global Engagement and Peace” is a peacebuilder from Cambodia. She recalled the Khmer Rouge times, and said everything became property of the KR, to the extent that if you grew a cucumber to eat you would be a traitor. Peace is an active choice.
