It’s great to talk with people and share our vision of equitable, accessible parks for all, and respecting our park workers who make it all happen.

Big day today! I testified at city council, tried out Albi Kitchen (great new Somali cafe! albikitchen.com) and went to NNO events in Loring Park, Elliot Park, Mueller Park, and on my own block of Aldrich.

It’s great connecting with so many neighbors, and hearing people’s thoughts about MPRB.

I’ve seen a lot of false information circulating in the weeks following the Minneapolis DFL convention. Some of it feels like reading Jan 6 voter conspiracy theories, so as the person who stepped in as head teller + audited the voting system, I’d like to set the record straight🧵

The report uses a limited set of data & does not tell the true story. Other govt measures such as HMIS via Hennepin Cty show the problem of unsheltered homelessness remains. The Frey administration approach does not solve homelessness, it exacerbates harm & pushes vulnerable people into the shadows.

Our city needs us. The people who live here need us. We owe it to them to be the leaders they deserve now.
