Such a difficult question to answer. The album works so well in its entirety. Jumping from We Are The Pigs to Heroine to Wild Ones is such a strong trio. But if I absolutely had to pick: Asphalt World. It just soars…

I would have had it in 1993. At college, everyone got NME so I got MM to guarantee a swap and read both every week. Now I just have to remember who I swapped that specific one with, track them down, see if they’ve still got it and ask for it back - assuming they’ve hung onto it. Not sure that helps!

Yes. Extraordinary that they have that (justified) level of confidence in their catalogue but also that they’re that well rehearsed that they can play 31 songs (I think) across two nights. By the way, is AJ Radd Andy who was talking to you when we met?

It was wonderful. I have been a Suede fan for 33 years and I have been married for 17 of them. Last night was the first time I finally persuaded my wife to attend with me… She was absolutely blown away! The world outside seemed awful, but in the RFH we were simply awe struck
