In the next cycle for 2028, we have Cortez Masto, Fetterman and Hassan up (plus Schumer, FWIW).

These 8 senators did not “fail a purity test,” as some reporters suggest. They broke from a community of Dems working their asses off to beat back racists and autocrats.

This is not progressive vs moderate. Both won big last Tuesday.

This is weak vs strong, and these 8 senators are weak AF.

Don’t kid yourselves, this was NOT “the responsible choice.” This was a cave, and you guys deserve to get hammered over this. Cowards.

These 8 Senators just undercut the messaging and momentum we spent months to build and win in last week’s elections across the country: Kaine (VA), King (ME), Shaheen (NH), Hassan (NH), Fetterman (PA), Durbin (IL), Cortez Masto (NV), Rosen (NV).

Shut them down. Vote them out. Turn this country around.

Trump is setting up a society that serves him, his children and billionaires. Everybody else, in his eyes, exists to serve him and his cronies. It’s narcissistic and predatory.
He’s rigging taxes, tariffs, healthcare, business deals — all for himself and his cronies, not the American people.

This is bad. We don’t know what this is yet. But this is bad.

This will be the most closely watched courtroom drama of the next year. The motive that prosecutors use will tell us a lot about how this case proceeds, both in court and in public.

Reminder: the Feds are going to have to list a motive for the 22 yo shooter. Will they say he’s radical leftist, a radical right-winger, or vaguely “inspired by the dark web.”

Here’s where we are: Many Republicans are still grieving, but we are not “at war.” This will settle down as his friends & family go through the stages of grief. While that unfolds, we must remain true to our own values, and not allow grievance politics to set the agenda for everyone else.
