Without Hulk Hogan, Peter Thiel would not have been so effective in media-suppression

Without Peter Thiel, we wouldn't know today's Musk or JDV

Without Musk, we wouldn't have DOGE (and would still have Park Service, State Dept, NIH, etc)

So we note Hulk Hogan's passing, as we might Roy Cohn's.

A Nazi owns Twitter, right wing billionaires own the Wall Street Journal and the LA Times, and CBS is run by a right wing nepo baby who just fired one of the network’s biggest stars for criticizing Donald Trump. Here’s why America has a left-wing media bias problem.

the cost advantage for EVs will only accelerate from here as battery tech gets cheaper and economies of scale are unlocked. Conversely, ICE tech will start to lose its own economies of scale and convienence as the overall market for them shrinks. Similar arc to CRT TVs vs LCD/LED

Chris Richards becoming The Man is more important than anything that could have come out of this Gold Cup. There are a lot of concerns about this team, and losing sucks, but the USMNT has had a centerback problem for years and the prodigal son just said "don't worry, I got it." That's massive.

Baltimore is seeing the city’s fewest homicides in 50 years. Here’s why. Multiple people have taken credit for the historic drop that mirrors a national decrease in violent crimes. Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott says it’s due to a community-based approach to gun violence.

#Baltimore Mayor #BrandonScott invested in 42 summer youth camps, 29 literacy programs, extended the rec center hours to 11 p.m, planned block parties, opened the pools for safe fun, & opened several schools up for summer classes. Crime is down 62%. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...

USAID cuts could lead to 14 million deaths over the next five years, researchers say An analysis published Monday in the medical journal The Lancet projects that cuts to the agency will lead to more deaths from diseases like AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis.

I really don’t understand how anyone in this administration, or anyone who supports them, sleep at night.

as much as we rightfully crap on Dems who are not meeting the moment, Chris Van Hollen has been great and Maryland should be proud of him

this is the kind of rhetoric we should be seeing from national Dems

punting on 2nd and 3 at the opponent’s 20 is something we will never ever see in football, because if a coach was trying to throw a game there are many more subtle ways of doing so. this is probably the closest thing to that we’re likely to see

With this budget, ICE alone would have nearly as large a detention operation as all 50 states' prison systems combined. Bigger budget than the Marine Corps. Police-state levels of spending

The Navy named a destroyer after Oscar Peterson in 1943, one year after he died.

Pretty sure his family was aware of that honor even if Jake Tapper was not.

Every single Democratic elected who represents NYC should be proudly endorsing Zohran Mamdami, who won the primary fair & square. They should be helping him however he & his team ask.

If they mealy-mouth it or, worse, stand with Cuomo, *they* will be why people hate the party.

Zohran Mamdani’s plan to tax the rich is a 2% tax on income over $1 million.

If you make $1.1 million, you’d pay an extra $2,000.

Watching working class conservatives and politicians completely meltdown about this is wild.

Al Green's impeachment resolution that 128 Dems voted against was a very straightforward, brief one about the unconstitutionality of bombing Iran without congressional authorization. Not all the umpteen dozen other things or debatable policy issues. Just that. That's what they sided with Trump on.

I am glad that I wrote this article. McBride did real damage with her interview, as should be clear by people who are allies and even some trans people arguing for sports bans.

I can promise you that capitulating won’t slow down the extreme stripping of rights.

If anything it’ll speed it up.
