was fruitlessly trying to find an error in my rasterizer code, until I understood that there is an error here:https://microsoft.github.io/DirectX-Specs/d3d/archive/D3D11_3_FunctionalSpec.htm#3.4.2.1%20Top-Left%20Rule

IIRC all-things-andy-gavin website has a lot of interesting info. This is Andy Gavin himself personal web site, so first hand info

Imagine your paper being reviewed by Laplace and Lagrange nitpicking on signals with 'corners'... Poor Fourier, his one has not been published until after 15 years after Lagrange has passed away.

3/3 The choice of small integer factor arose from the use of vacuum tube divider circuits to divide field from line rates. Such dividers were stable only for small divisors.

2/3 line and field rate by 1001/1000 to 15.734kHz and 59.94Hz respectively (that is where this odd number comes from). But why exactly 1001? The factors of 1001 are 7, 11 & 13 known since ancient times (also considered unlucky).

1/3 What is the connection between 1001 Arabian Nights and analog video transmission? Nonlinearity in processing composite colour & sound would result into intermodulation distortion. This could be mitigated by increasing sound/line ratio by 1001/1000. Instead FCC decided to reduce

Recently I wanted to contribute to a tool I've been using for some time. Turned out it was a web-site-as-an-app. Spent 2 days to add couple of UI elements with a simple functionality talking to an MCU. Now I know why that tool reset to initial page after some actions. Just JS throwing exceptions.
