Anyone here have experience with frozen shoulder during peri-menopause? Did knitting make it worse?
I think I’m in the starting weeks of frozen shoulder and i’m curious if knitting contributing to the pain.
Here is my last completed object. A gnome!!! With snowshoes!! 😍🌲
Those wood buttons…. 😍
11.02.2026 17:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yes, but I don’t have to buy them.
I inherited my great grandmother‘s button tin. I’ve been adding to it over the years. For example, I saved those extra buttons that you get on shirts, and I add them to the tin.
But if I need a full set of five or 10, I’m gonna be hurting
That is a gorgeous well fitting sweater. I hope you get many wears out of it!!!!

It’s time to get up, stand up, and fight for your life.
As somebody with Crohn’s disease, I’ve had more colonoscopies than I can count. And this description absolutely had me crying with laughter. I will say I love the feeling of being completely empty after doing the prep. It’s such a light and floaty feeling. The rest? 😑
27.01.2026 18:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Took an hour to knit outside in the sun for my mental health. It’s a fisherman’s rib “gaptastic” scarf for my 90’s vibe loving niece. After so much rain in the PNW, the political climate, and perimenopause, this feels so critical. Also check out this pod:

09.01.2026 18:38 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I listen to a lot of podcasts. And not the true crime kind, but the other true crime kind called political and news pods. Even my beloved Marketplace seems to be touched by criminal intent via events at the Fed.
Although, I do love Dan Carlin’s hard-core history.
Many procedures are scary. At least you got some practice.

Is it gonna be a banana slug?
Socks really are the easiest travel project. Such a great idea.
I hope your mom has an easy procedure and heals quickly.
These are fantastic! You are an absolute genius. I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
I have some photos of Mosaics from a trip Carthage in Tunisia, and the idea of turning those into stranded knitting, absolutely blows my mind. So fun!!!
Plus those dang colors!!! Gets me every time!!
(Side note, this is one of the few wools I can wear without all the itches!!)
Rios is my all time favorite yarn.
06.01.2026 20:47 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Trying something different. Empty dry active yeast bottle, covered with air dry clay, then painted. Such a fun crafty moment. I want to try new things this year!!!
I think I’m going to tone down the mushrooms and add white dots…
That mad Tosh color is stunning

04.01.2026 23:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Same!! This last year I discovered my color palette and soft summer (not autumn!!) and it’s changing everything. Now that I know what colors look good on me, I need to knit a few more basics.
