Last touches done and I'm wearing it. Still not blocked. That will even out the stitches a bit whenever it happens. Probably when it needs a wash. Surprisingly soft too! But then, I'm practically impervious to the scratchiness of wool on skin.

Yep, the dust is real. I sometimes wonder if I should be wearing a mask when doing the dusty jobs like carding. Especially when I work with alpaca. That's insanely dusty no matter how often I rinse it.

Knowing the amount of gunk and sometimes creepy crawlies that come out of a fleece in the wash tub I don't fancy handling and spinning raw wool in my house. I absolutely prefer a hot soapy wash and whatever rinses are required. To each their own...

Processing wool from sheep to jumper is incredibly time consuming. Probably 200 hours in this jumper from raw fleece to finished garment. Skirting, washing, picking, carding, spinning, plying, wet finishing the yarn, knitting, blocking the jumper. Very enjoyable though. Highly recommend it!

A one-fleece-jumper. Wool is handspun from a single (local) fleece.
