Yes, more people could potentially work with the right job, the right employer, and the right adjustments/support.

But many still won't be able to. This is just a fact.

And actually it's cruel to have someone work, if it would mean they don't have any capacity left to live.

The National Insurance Fund Account has a surplus of £86.4bn.

Plenty of resources to increase pensions, benefits, compensate the 1950s women.

Govts raided it to fund NIC cuts for the rich, NIC holidays in freeports, and general tax cuts for the rich.

Once again and as always, “but they have underlying conditions” is a way to excuse the deaths of people we should be caring for so you don’t have to care.
