Is it me that's wrong, or whoever made this the standard? Why would I ever want a heading format to subsume the entire surrounding paragraphs, even if I've only used single line breaks? Sheesh.

Once I've finished this post, I'm going to put my foot through the screen.

There's a joy surrounding using a web page editor where, even though I've cleared all the formatting (possibly because I've done that...), applying a formatting style to one line automatically propagates to the entire paragraph.
