I hadn’t seen this. Kirk, the moderate free speech guy who did politics the right way per some liberals (!), called for Biden to be executed.

Meanwhile Joe Biden put out a very strong statement condemning Kirk’s killing.

Set aside Sen. Mike Lee's storm of lies and incitement here. Lee literally made jokes on Twitter about the fmr Speaker of the Minnesota state house being murdered in her home by a right wing extremist. Hard to imagine any more twisted and malicious person in public life.

I don’t like that we call people like Charlie Kirk “activists”. His life was was dedicated to trying to make demonstrably worse for millions of Americans. His is a legacy of hate.

I will always agree with this:

People are expressing a lot of thoughts today over Charlie Kirk.

I wish I could see even one tenth of that concern being voiced for the teenagers shot today at school in Evergreen, Colorado.

Conservative media have been notably quiet about the deadly shootings carried out by Vance Luther Boelter, in which Minnesota Democratic State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband were killed, and another lawmaker and spouse were critically injured.

Before knowing all the facts, voices on the right are now exploiting the tragic death of Charlie Kirk & calling for all-out war on the left. This is sad, but not surprising, at a time when we should all be denouncing political violence. They were not so upset when Minn. Democrats were assassinated.

For everyone saying political violence has no place in this country…

Remember two Democratic legislators were shot in Minnesota just this year.

And America shrugged and moved on.
