This has got to be the smallest top off I've ever seen! Seriously, why would someone even bother buying such a tiny amount of gas? ๐

06.08.2025 00:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It does indeed! It tends to grow in or around wet areas with high acidity.

Wow! What a spectacular sunset! Very cool and autumnal tonight as well. Not pictured: tons of mosquitoesโฆ

29.07.2025 00:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So it's not just me who has noticed this. The deer flies are just brutal this year. www.vermontpublic.org/local-news/2...

20.07.2025 23:40 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs an exceptionally rare sit out on the porch and sip coffee morning. Itโs not hot, cold, raining, snowing, nor buggy for onceโฆ #vtwx

10.07.2025 18:33 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0One must be specific to which Manchester one is referring to in these parts. Although people here typically mean Manchester, VT, Manchester, NH is much larger even though it's about 2-2.5 hours east of here. Although less commonly referred to, there's a Manchester, CT too. ๐
09.07.2025 13:07 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's amazing how much better a dew point of 68ยฐ F feels compared to 71ยฐ F. #vtwx
08.07.2025 23:11 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have one of those too and was zapping them left and right. Helps a bit, but they keep on coming.
08.07.2025 00:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have never seen as many deer flies as there are right now, except perhaps on a Boy Scout camping trip we dubbed โMission Impossible in the Adirondacksโ in upstate NY during the mid 90s! Just total insanity! Full fledged category 5 biting insect conditions! Ughโฆ
07.07.2025 21:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0They can't replace those aging Cape Cod bridges fast enough! Traffic has been like this all day. For those who don't know, the bridges are each approximately 90 years old, have narrow travel lanes and high granite curbs forcing people to slow down, creating a massive bottleneck in the summer.
07.07.2025 00:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Hiked Mt. Monadnock in NH yesterday and I was treated to spectacular views all around. I could see north to the White Mountains, west to the Green Mountains, and southeast to the Boston skyline.
05.07.2025 21:16 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Same thing here. Hobblebush and mountain maples. Hemlock and white pine are scarce here above 2,000' and nonexistent above 2,500'. Red spruce and balsam fir dominate the conifer scene while red&sugar maple, yellow&paper birch, beech, black cherry, and some white ash are dominant hardwoods. No oaks.
