While equal in strength, 9/20 sun ≠ 3/20 sun. Why?
1. Perception: going from light to dark makes you think everything is darker.
2. Leaves still on the trees: leaves block more sunlight = more shadows.

The scene earlier in Great Barrington, MA earlier as a tornado warned thunderstorm moved in. Not much right in town except for frequent lightning, torrential rain, and some brief gusty winds. The worst of it, including 1.5” hail and a radar indicated tornado, went south through Sheffield, MA #mawx

Them: "Oh, the market is so hot and my house is worth (some high $ value)..."
Me: "The market has really cooled off and a lot of stuff is not selling with price cuts..."
I then get that look...
