on sunday night we were trying to catch a loop-bound train from Western but "signal problems" resulted in exactly 0 tracked, moving trains on the entire line. we decided to take the 49 to the 77, but the 77 had a 24 minute gap. so we walked, through the unplowed sidewalks. what can you even say

between my partner and I we ride the brown line at least once a day, and have had service gaps/delays major enough to force us to use alternate transportation at least once a week for the past month, and each of the last 3 days.

with the note that I think tolling the Kennedy, Ike, Dan Ryan, Stevenson, and LSD would be a better option, these would probably be the options for a downtown cordon that use existing geographic boundaries with minimal new infrastructure, in order of audacity:

My submission! I never landed on an exact hue I liked for the colors, but I still think it was a good design. I've seen lots of other designs I like a lot too! A lot of people did a lot of great work. The official results, I fear, did not reflect the creativity I've seen from people in these threads
