I mostly noticed it because I Stan BKV & Powell is a pretty good person too. I wonder how much of it is an intentional slight, as both of them pretty much ditched working for the Big Two & went on to success in creator-owned comics. I’d imagine seeing The Hood on TV would reinforce that decision…

I want a spin-off entirely focused on Steven & Amethyst’s pro-wrestling career. I’d watch 20+ episodes of Tiger Millionaire and the Purple Puma kicking ass and taking names in the Beach City Underground Wrestling scene.

This is one of the best ideas I’ve heard for wrenching newspapers back from the abyss they’ve been sliding deeper into for the past 20+ years. It would be so much cheaper than pissing away tens of millions of dollars trying to find some magical podcaster(s) to connect with “swing” voters.

Finished watching S2 of Andor last night and immediately dialed up a rewatch of Rogue One. I’d forgotten how much of Andor’s world found in RO. Honestly, I didn’t even remember that Saw Guerrera was in it. Rewatching it made me like both Andor AND RO even more.

And we get a live action The Hood showing up!
