Opinion | Remote Work Is Increasingly for The Rich (Gift Article) Remote work is increasingly a privilege enjoyed by the most affluent Americans.

Where’s the boss?

I wrote about the increasing wealth gap in remote work for @nytimes. The datapoint that really made me think? Employment for people with disabilities rose by 22% during the pandemic…due to remote work.

Why go backwards?

so, perhaps the discussion dems should be having is β€œwas taking advice from UK labour & geoff β€˜stop saying weird & tack to the center’ garin a big mistake & should we instead do the thing 6 years of data backs up & be loudly pro-body autonomy like andy beshear was when he won kentucky by 30 points?”

Other narratives that would have emerged if Harris won (and did after Biden won):
β€”Should Democrats throw trans people under the bus?
β€”Are Dems the party of identity politics too much??
β€”Who will think of the white men??

It doesn’t matter who wins an election. You will hear these ideas regardless.

I am always struck by how β€œAre Democrats too elitist?” would have ALSO been the narrative had Harris won.
