I cycle through anger, disgust, pity, and jealousy, when I talk to that 15%. In my life it’s most of my family including my only parent, and somehow coworkers. I’m a teacher in Oklahoma 🙃. They are aware of local bullshit but not federal. Baffling and isolating. Maybe today they wake up.

I mean this in an encouraging way! The fascists want us to feel helpless and powerless, but we have strength in our coalition of support and compassion. Don’t let defeatist attitudes weigh you down.

Don’t let perfect be the enemy of progress. Do what you can when you can to fight back, to support others who are suffering, and to protect your mental health.

I’m wondering how many people were living with a very small safety net? How many will be mysteriously denied unemployment? Or given false reasons and put into a situation of having to litigate the situation against the employer….. the us govt. So, that seems grim. Join your union if you have one!
