I have that same problem with coworkers and congregants at church.

I feel that tension, too. I have been very careful to guard my speech for fear of retribution, both from family/friends and because of my employer. Do we speak out regardless of the risk, or do we protect ourselves?

Wasn't really able to bird while on my cruise to the east Caribbean this past week, but did grab a few lifers (no photos) when on tours or near the port area: White-winged dove, Greater Antillean Grackle, Bahama Yellowthroat, Gray Kingbird, and Brown Booby.

Eating supper at Port Canaveral before getting on a ship tomorrow. Just realized my shore bird and gull ID skills are noticeably lacking.
