Yeah, I think that just because one may have favoured Ange to stay, doesn't mean they were necessarily against Frank. Can see the merit in either path, just more so on one side. But now that Ange has gone and if Frank comes in, over time we will all get behind him.

I think judging him based on what he hasn't achieved was fair given the fact we had Ange, a proven winner. Moving from him to Frank is seen as a big gamble we don't need to take. Now though, I'll get behind Frank, what else can I do realistically? I think a lot of fans will be in this same boat.

It really does remain to be seen how this will effect our pull and recruitment, so many of the players we signed the last few years came because of Ange

Hmm yeah that's an interesting take tbf. Another I heard was are the club releasing this info now to guage reaction? Maybe a bit fanciful that but you never know.

Yep I agree and think most people like Frank too. It's just the optics and timing - if we hadn't won the EL and wanted someone to stabilise us, then yeah, excellent appt. But now I just see it as pointless, and there are far more reasons to keep Ange. I don't think Frank raises our ceiling over Ange

Thomas Frank is a mid table manager. If he’s the one, at least the club are finally being clear on their ambitions.

The night we won the EL my dad said to me "sure we could be 2nd and it wouldn't make any difference now" and I completely agreed. Sure, there's flaws in and more to it than that, but I see this season as a one off, the ends justified the means, and I couldn't care less about the PL.

Having meditated on matters I continue to think sacking Ange is unconscionable, and the silence is because there's nothing to announce. New CEO and comms master VV is starting next week, will take the reins swiftly, and give us a tasty update we'll all love and the good vibes will return.

I listened to it out of curiosity. As expected, I thought Marcus' approach to his views was a bit of a mess, and sometimes you'd swear he was trolling. But hey ho, he's entitled to his opinion.

The universe is against us brother! However, I am optomistic Ange will use that to motivate the rest of the players. He's been doing it all season. Can you imagine his pre match speech? Goosebumps. It's still just a one off game, we can still beat them.

Genuinely no words for this season. Whatever way you look at it, overall we've just had the most horrendous luck - Bergvall, Maddison and Deki's injuries all innocous or impact.

I guess Ange will be using it to motivate the players though. God knows we all really deserve a huge reward in the end.
