You don't realise how dull your life is until someone asks what your hobbies are.

An active NFL player making millions, living out his childhood dream killed himself this morning.

Can we talk about mental health now?

How many more people are going to lose their battle before we admit that mental health matters?

I fear I’m getting sick which unfortunately doesn’t fit into my busy schedule.

I’m gonna need to reschedule this illness for…18 years from now.

2 yr old: I’m tired

Me: want to go to bed?

2: yeah

Me: *pauses sesame street*

2: turn dat back on right now. I no need to go night night

If we had a real government, they would investigate the monopoly that is Disney/ABC/Hulu.

But no matter how many ways Disney tries to tell me it’s YouTube TVs fault, we all know it’s not.

So you do your thing, YouTube. Disney channels can wait.

Do you see how much I’m struggling? Did you see it growing up?

Me to my 6 year old: not everything needs to be perfect. Drawing outside the line or choosing the “wrong” color is not a failure. It’s ok if you make a mistake. No one is perfect.

My brain: beating myself up all weekend for one small, insignificant mistake. You are better than that.

My 6.5 yr old just called an airhead “crunchy”

Was there ever any combination of words that would have allowed me to get through to you?

Did you know that “working hard” didn’t lead to success or promotions as an adult when you engraved that in my bones?

Did you know it was all a scam so employers could take advantage of “hard workers”?

All the lessons you taught me growing up, all the morals you instilled in me…did you actually mean for me to learn them? Do you remember them?
