What a treat to share a walkies and a BBQ with my colleagues.

The rain in the background caught us on the way home. But that’s normal for a British bbq, right?

This was so powerful - few of us can imagine the reality of having a family devastated by familial FTD - and the response of Jordan/Cian to their own risk is incredibly inspiring. Find them in instagram/TikTok as the FTD Brothers and follow their story…!

Excited to share the lab's recent publication. Granulins are critical for lysosome function and brain health to prevent neurodegeneration. Our data suggest that granulin peptides could be used to treat frontotemporal dementia (FTD), Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease.

In familial British dementia (FBD), a mutation in the stop codon of the ITM2B gene (also known as BRI2) causes a C-ter...

Very happy to share our paper on Familial British Dementia (FBD) which is online today!

Using patient iPSC,we show the amyloidogenic peptide in this disease -ABri -is mainly produced by microglia…
