I wanted to spend time in NZ with family (read: months) and work while there. Really hard to do that in later life and not a travelling youngster (for which there _are_ visas). I’m shortening the trip and taking time unpaid.

RIP Drew Struzan. His posters are a huge part of my childhood. Iconic images and what a range! From Black Sabbath to the Muppets. I really recommend the Art of Drew Struzan book. The anecdotes about the creation of each poster are fascinating.

Repair collective getting creative with transport in hilly Wellington Jade Musther is crowd funding a unique build for her repair business.

Really proud of my sister's work. Supporting the poor in the community and challenging normative masculinity in the tradies space. Also, a cool techie project on the go which has reached min funding. She also hit the national news. Now "world famous in New Zealand"!
