I miss Twitter days. I had a great group of friends that got me though a lot. Blue Sky is nice, but it’s not the same. I guess my loneliness is exacerbated by being isolated at home, having only one close friend in life, having no contact with my son, and no real relationship with my mother.

My husband has been asleep for almost 2 days. This happens pretty frequently lately. He shaved off his facial hair yesterday. He looks like a different person. He’s the sort of person who obsesses about the past and can never look forward. It’s exhausting.

My mom can’t drive anymore, so if she needs to go somewhere, my son takes her. She has a big dog and a cat she cares for, but she is a big fall risk. My son lives 20 minutes from us. I’m less than a mile away from her. Her neighbor has been bringing her food regularly.

My mother acts like I don’t exist. I don’t understand it. Since the only person she talks to is my estranged son, I’m concerned about her state of mind. She has severe white matter disease and is mostly blind. Should I talk to a lawyer or something?
