I found that Ozzy and Sharon documentary incredibly poignant. Ozzy got home alright, but little did he know he only had weeks left. Life is short, folks. Short and fragile. Make the most of it.

Listened to a Beatles’ mix for the first time in a while yesterday. Familiarity can breed contempt but it’s amazing how fresh the music still sounds and how, after all this time, you still notice new things. So many layers. They were some band!

To be honest, I find it hard not to be a little cynical, Chris. They can endlessly knock out different takes of recordings for large sums of money. But that’s been done. As a fan, you just want something new and novel. Appreciate that’s rather difficult for a band that broke up in 1969!

Was just thinking about what the songs would have been if John had moved to New Zealand. ‘Baby’s in All Black’ was the best I could come up with!
