I've watched this so many times now, I love everything about it!!

I would do things a little differently now, but this drawing is from 2020.

October 4th 2025 is the 120th anniversary of the naming of Tyrannosaurus rex, thought I'd use this occasion do a quick drawing.

a Gorgonichthys has caught and bitten a Cladoselache, blood and flesh escapes from the open wound, including out of the Gorgonichthys' spiracle and gill slit. one Kentuchia takes a bite from the carcass while two others swim around the Gorgonichthys. two iceburgs float along in the backround, dropstones can be seen falling out of the one closest to the camera Gorgonichthys is a large placoderm (jawed armoured fish) with a boxy head which lived in the same formation as Dunkleosteus. Cladoselache is a cartilaginous fish that appeared like a shark with a flat boxy head, males had a curved spine on their primary dorsal fin, while females lacked them. Kentuchia is an early rayfinned fish that had very forward placed eyes, giving it a very silly appearance

i felt like drawing a placoderm last month, so i drew Gorgonichthys. it's been sitting in my wips pile for ages now, not tooo happy with this but that's the nature of art i guess :]

Please welcome Cariocecus bocagei! A new, basal hadrosauroid from the early Cret. of Portugal! This guy is known from a pretty nice skull, which makes it one of the best ornithopod fossils from Iberia so far! I loved during this little portrait for main author Filippo Bertozzo...

Speculative shaggy, tailless and short-frilled horned dinosaurs with scooping, shovel-like nasal "horns" in a snowy setting.

A speculative armoured therizinosaur adapted for high browsing in a tropical landscape. Possibly the stupiest animal concept you'll see today, maybe the stupidest you'll see all week.

A speculative gigantic sauropod adapted for browsing grasslands during the cool of the night. It's so big that the moon has abandoned its usual passage around the Earth and now orbits the sauropod.

To liven up Tuesday afternoon, have some speculative #dinosaurs adapted for modern habitats. Respectively, they are the magnificent and steppe fissurefrills, the berk, and the grand field titan. It's nice to take a break from pure #paleoart every now and then, and designing animals is fun.

A size comparison between Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Deltadromeus, an indeterminate abelisaurid, an indeterminate dromaeosaurid, and myself.

The more animals join the lineup, the more absurd this ecosystem appears. More to come!

an Arizonasaurus rests by the coastline on a barren red sand beach, its sail is in speculative breeding season colours with orange, red, blue, and yellow colouration. Arizonasaurus is a terrestrial distant relative of crocodilians that may have walked bipedally but that's still debated. it possessed a large sail on its back that could've been used for display

an Ozimek rests in the shade on the internode of a Pterophyllum whole plant Ozimek is an extinct gliding reptile that had a long neck and tail with thin long limbs indicating that it most likely had a large gliding squirrel-like patagium between its limbs, alluding to an arboreal gliding lifestyle Pterophyllum is a form genus of leaf that looked vaguely like cyad leaves. it's associated with the wind pollinated male bennettitale pollen cone form genus Welsbergia, it looked somewhat like a flower but with conspicuous microsporangia (pollen producing organs) all along its microsporangiophores ("petals")

a Cyonosaurus moves its snout very close to the camera, it has an Esterella ginkgo leaf on its snout, the back half of its body is partially shaded by something, it's unclear if that's a cloud or the tree the Esterella leaf came from. other Esterella leaves can be seen scattered around the Cyonosaurus Cyonosaurus is a small gorgonopsid synapid (carnivorous "mammal-like reptiles" with rectangular heads and saber teeth) that was originally thought to be from the early Triassic, but was later found to be from the late Permian. Esterella is a ginkgo leaf form genus that appeared like a small bare tree with no flat areas, rather, being composed of branching rounded "stem"-like "internodes"

a Henodus sifts through shallow water by a lake shore for food, its body is only partially obscured by the fine sediment it's kicking up in is foraging Henodus is an extinct freshwater armoured reptile that is sometimes proposed to be distantly related to turtles due to its similarly formed shell. it appeared like a turtle with a very wide and concave on the top shell with a ridge running down the middle. its face was also quite "squashed" with eyes at the very tip
