RAM is important if you browse with lots of tabs open. The higher the GBs the better. The browser is always hogging the most resources on my laptop. Otherwise, most PCs/Macs can do most things you ask of them these days

Even when it’s not cheap, or negative, as long as you can use the battery to avoid the 1600-1900 peak, it’s often a cheaper than a standard tariff at other times.

We live on the edge with Octopus Agile. It sometimes pays off as (like the last few days), the price can go negative at certain times, meaning you get paid (pennies) to charge your battery at the allotted times 👍

Solar is much better with a battery, as you can use the generated energy that you can’t use during the day when you actually need it. Battery without solar is also good if you’re on the right tariff. Batteries in lots of houses could really help the grid during peak times with or without solar
