Others seek out knowledge but still vote R anyway as ingrained thinking overrides core values. Others ignore politics and vote the way they always have. And yes, the occasional few friends who vote R to “own the libs”.

It’s interesting to watch my historically conservative, somewhat religious, friends struggle with politics right now. Some stay true to religious values of treat others with respect, help those less fortunate, etc, even if it means voting democrat which goes against their ingrained thinking. 1/x

When I was about 10 years old I cupped my hands around a hummingbird at the feeder. Thought for sure it would have flown off as my hands approached. Was able to hold it & it didn’t struggle to get away. I could feel the really fast heartbeat tho! I opened my hands, it waited a beat & then flew off.

20 days later and I’m proven right.

Dead or retired. As a teen I received social security because my dad was retired and receiving it. I do think we could probably nix the kids get it if parent is retired. But that’s probably a super small percentage of recipients.
