Relistening to this album that I โdiscoveredโ last week for the first time. It was released in 1974, but is a compilation of tracks recorded 1969 to 1972. Itโs great and makes a cohesive electric period album. Love it. The song โGo Ahead Johnโ features a particularly scorching John McLaughlin solo.

05.02.2026 18:57 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Then what about Arvo Part?? You mean modern Evangelical Christian POP music from U.S. Music is a much bigger category than U.S. Pop.
05.02.2026 18:13 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Actually, it is perfectly possible to produce art without either of those things. Nor is the yucky Christian pop people are complaining about rehashing 'old ideas' unless by old you mean the 1970's.
05.02.2026 18:10 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0What you mean is conservative contemporary Evangelical music from the U.S. Obviously Bach is 'Christian music'. So African American gospel.

03.02.2026 20:04 โ ๐ 16 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well interpretation is a universal task for any kind of reader of any kind of text. Biblical or otherwise.

28.01.2026 16:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not happening. University admins can't evaluate the quality of highly specialized papers. The only 'accountability' they can enforce are quantitative metrics. Hence this whole false economy of millions of papers with no readers coupled with shrill demands to produce more and more.

26.01.2026 20:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Dear internet. The reason I know Amelia Lanyer did not write Shakespeare is that I have read both authors. It is really that simple! Lanyer is a real author who is out there for everyone to read! So is Shakespeare and when you read both of them you can see they differ!
