Thats a cool one! I remember trekking to a Japanese import toy shop on foot to buy the original one when i was a kid. Aside frome the clear plastic, that one looks cartoon accurate.

The storyboard direction was quite amazing. Always impressed w the dynamic camera movement in the action sequences. I really liked how the line art was toned brown and the cartoony anatomy was pushed for comedy and action.

I loved that show. I wish i could have worked on it.

As an artist, i can think of a few things ai could be used as a tool in an animation pipeline that wouldn’t take a job but add to it. Like generating angles of a prop design, or providing an accurate lip sync for foreign language dubs, but thats not the aim of ai. Its meant to replace us entirely.

I saw your page on commissions, too. Just out of curiosity, are you open to traditional medium commissions? It seemed like it was mostly digital.

AI is likely going to kill entrepreneurship and stifle the free market. If you have a good idea, its potential value will be stolen from you and automated by a tech giant with no recourse for their theft. Isn't it obvious that this current course will destroy fair competition?

I added some color to this superjail sketch card yesterday. I totally messed up the skin tones w marker, but painted over it w gauche- successfully i might add!

In the end- the only thing that will matter is if the story is good and the jokes are funny. Just like the 1st movie which everyone hated how it looked, but were won over by the story.
