09.08.2025 21:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I like Iceland. And Bjork (though i like the Sugarcubes more). I'm surprised that you don't. Though to be clear, I'm not surprised that you don't like the Sugarcubes.
09.08.2025 21:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0So is Israel not a radical force? They seem pretty radical to me, and they certainly use a lot of force.
09.08.2025 21:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0+1 for comics podcast. I'd do this, as I love the format, but I'm absolutely out of my depth.
09.08.2025 20:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Props to Salah for this. He's not the only footballer to stand up for something, but it's not the biggest club he's joining by doing so, making it all the more resonant.

I get what you're saying, and I don't entirely disagree - there's certainly a lot of opportunistic politicking going on. But it's legitimate, even necessary, to challenge actions that erode your long-term right to support a cause, even if doing so limits your short-term effectiveness.

"Sorry, that's my raven," someone says. "She takes requests if you've got $5."
"Really? You must be very proud," says the man.
"Not really. I hoped she'd become a doctor."
Very pleased to rediscover Java, which I'm sure I haven't heard since Vision On. Thanks to your post, if I achieve nothing else this morning it will still have been a successful one.
03.08.2025 06:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0ChatGPT gave the incorrect answer to a sum that could be easily checked on any calculator. The sum was: 1.201 to the power of 0.42857 The correct answer is 1.0817, but ChatGPT gave 1.0785
I hardly use it, but when I have I've had more run-ins than useful encounters. Today it got a basic sum wrong.
It terrifies me that people are using it in the real world.
That's fantastic!
25.07.2025 13:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Quite. And I hope you're right. (Or 'correct' might be a better word). Time will tell. Whatever the outcome, whatever the route to it, it seems we both hope for a fairer world. π€
24.07.2025 21:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The most shocking thing about this is that it isn't even satire. Top marks from me. Awful as it is to look at, this is journalism.
24.07.2025 20:55 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Somehow this makes it even funnier.

Hey, no need to have a go. I just saw it last time around. I watched the 'left-wing' press drag him through the dirt every day, amplifying the words of others rather than risk lying themselves. I'm not without hope. I just think he's a marked man. I wish it wasn't so. But I still hope there's a way.

24.07.2025 19:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So the story is what? Desperate people gamble, the secure and moneyed less so?
Well blow me down.
Any hint at success, and the smears will ramp back up again, and worse. Corbyn represents too much of a threat to vested interests, even on the left. Love him or hate him, I'm sure he'll again be unelectable because the media will go to great lengths to make him so.
24.07.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I understand the frustration, but history tells me that every time we think Labour are worse than the Tories, the Tories get in and prove that actually they're worse yet still.
24.07.2025 19:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Remember when they used to get done for this? And drafting team cars too? Good times.
24.07.2025 19:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm sure I won't be the first to post this, but I'm doing it anyway because it's rare that I care little enough...

If Keir Starmer wants a positive relationship with the Scottish Government, he needs to get his Environment Secretary to retract his totally inaccurate comments about Scotlandβs water.
Our rivers are cleaner, our bills are lower - and public ownership delivers for people, not profit. π
I used to think Cleverly was stupid; the things he said, the way he spoke, the smug certainty that anyone who disagreed just couldn't see the world as clearly as he did. But since he dropped back, it's seemed as though his colleagues are even sillier than him, so this may be a smart move.

I don't think this is the answer. But more importantly, why is it Β£99/month? You can buy an iPhone 16 new for Β£800. And why, when it's so hamstrung, does it need to be so flash a phone?
I guess because ordinarily it's your kid, not the phone, that's the product.
