At some point, people need to connect the dots between their votes and their wellbeing. Some just aren’t smart enough to do it before the hardship hits them personally. It’s too bad there are so many in need of civics education that we all suffer in the meantime.

It is cynical, but at some point, the electorate needs to learn what they’re voting for. Dems can’t save republicans from themselves on everything all the time.

Unsolicited advice alert: Apply anyway if you haven’t already. In my sector there’s a real problem of employers writing their job opening looking for a unicorn. Maybe they’ll find it but more likely they end up hiring someone w/o all of the requirements anyway & miss out on good ones along the way

I feel like she sat out plenty down the stretch. Can’t just sit her for 2 months straight and expect her to still be in top form. I mean, we clinched a playoff spot in August, so technically anything after that is meaningless.

Temwa had a non contact injury, away from the ball, maybe wasn’t even running at the time. An argument could be made that maybe she had been resting too much and her body wasn’t ready for a game. We probably will never know and that’s ok.
