My favorite example is when a government official (of a human faction that my Minotaur character doesn’t like) offered us a “litter” as part of the standard hospitality/transportation they seem to offer to guests, my character remarked that they didn’t need/could use the normal washrooms to poop.

This format of joke (not specific to that one word) has also been the source of 80% of my character’s jokes in our latest D&D campaign, misunderstanding words and/or taking them literally. I’m just leaning into it now every time I can, and it’s great.

I didn’t same thing when “Let’s go Brandon” was a thing.

I think about this every time I see a racist complain about too many interracial couples in commercials.

These companies ran the numbers, and they know they’ll get more money from customers that like the ads than racists complaining about them. They’re very loud, but they don’t have the numbers.
