Went to the store and spent ~$50 on canned and boxed “Thanksgiving side dishes” to donate to two local food pantries this week. If you have the means, now is the time to help your neighbors.

I think the thing I observe most when I’m with my kid at a playground, park, whatever, is that other kids want their adult(s) to play with them and participate so badly. Instead, people are checked out, face down in their phones.
