I think Bezos makes money on AWS, and the Feds have the ability to make AWS useless to the Defense Department. Destroying the Post and running it at a loss in a way that keeps money flowing to AWS is "worth" it

It's clear he is willing to lose money on the Post to use it to curry favor with the President and keep government contracts flowing to AWS.

I bet he will retool the paper again at great expense for the next president.
