I was ready to drag my mom’s oncologist into the whole moving out fiasco today. then she was nowhere to be found when I went to pick her up. no answer to multiple calls. had to park & go inside. had a v disconcerting chat w the receptionist & found her in the dining hall. the gloves are coming off

I guess the silver lining of our dryer breaking on sunday is that I didn’t get to wash the extra sheet sets so at least those can be returned

well this is a mess bc apparently the split king we thought we ordered is a cool $3k extra. I’m about ready to say fuck it, send the adjustable base back & eat the cost of the new bedding that I’ve already bought/washed

yes! I think of their lifespan as being about 10yrs & ours just hit that mark. we were trying to hold out til after the primary reno but it was just too bad. sagging terribly, so jiggly, & making my back problems worse. man got sick of me sleeping in the guest room lol so we just bit the bullet.
