Just looking at the new stadium on Google Maps. Are there any plans for the land on Charing Docks opposite Dublin Street and Dickson Street? Just seems like a bit of a wasteland at the moment?

As I don’t know everything about the finances involved, or what we may have lined up elsewhere, I’m sure there is a reason we didn’t go for those players. The fact so many out of contract players are still out of contract suggests that what they are demanding might be excessive.

I haven’t forgotten at all, I know how many we need to sign but I’m also aware that you can’t just make the market work, it depends on loads of other things happening unless you are one of the clubs seemingly immune from PSR. We need better players than we have and I’m sure we’ll get them.

Not at all, but it’s quite obvious that every team outside the top 6 is not really making signings, certainly not at the level they want/need. Hopefully the market starts to move more now and we get the players we want.

So they had a full squad and lost to Sutton Utd, we were missing three CBs and played a load of players out of position and lost to Bournemouth after we ran out of steam following a decent first half. Good you don’t give a fuck but having perspective is good too.

I know what you mean but our defence is actually pretty strong, but I guess it’s someone to come in and compete with Mykolenko for a starting place with some pedigree, which Tagliafico does have for no real outlay, saves money where we need it (everywhere in attack basically!)

It might be that we are thinking we can absorb it in these first two years in the new stadium without much bother, then decide if he’s worth extending further in or getting someone better in 2 years. If he’s signed longer he’s potentially harder to get off the books. All I can think of besides visa.
