It's really breathtaking, Labour only won because the Tories managed to fuck up to an almost inconceivable level. The only thing Labour have done since is fuck up on an even bigger level than previously thought possible.

Reads like McSweeney and co decided they should have a pod at and then lost interest in putting in the work. And their backers were so enamoured with being "digital" no one asked questions.

TBF it's not just in politics. There's been a shift from putting in the work to schmoozing and influencing your way into a career.
