I’m just confused what Furman is arguing.

Truly a bizarre piece. When working on tariffs last year and talking to economists about what might happen, no one thought there would be an immediate crash to markets and the economy.

Everyone, however, predicted exactly what is actually happening with inflation and points shaved off GDP growth.
