'We're citizens!': Oklahoma City family traumatized after ICE raids home, but they weren't suspects A woman says her family’s fresh start in Oklahoma turned into a nightmare after federal immigration agents raided their home, taking their phones, laptops, and life savings – even though they were …

Please highlight this story.

ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago.

If you worked for 18F and got fired, Group together to start a consulting company.

It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create.

They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms.

I’m happy to invest and/or help

How a Canadian scientist and a venomous lizard helped pave the way for Ozempic - National | Globalnews.ca In 1984, Dr. Daniel Drucker, an endocrinologist from the University of Toronto, discovered a hormone that helped pave the way for popular diabetes drugs such as Ozempic.

This is the most relevant article to NIH and research cuts I’ve seen.

Imagine if this was today , how many people would be saying β€œWhy are we studying Gila Monsters and their impact on diabetes ? That’s wasted money !”

What's an opinion you have that would make a bunch of people angry?

Write it down in a notebook called, "Why would I want to make a bunch of people angry right now?" and then close that notebook and have some tea.

Insane article. The vast majority of this increase is because we were exposed to burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s our generation’s agent orange.

As a burn pit veteran myself, the economist is absolutely wrong here. My guess is there were no burn pit vets on the board that wrote this

I can’t love this enough. First of all, they seem to be just messing with us. Secondly that β€˜80s fashion is making a comeback. And third Dead Salmon Hat is a great band name. Nature is weird and I’ll never get tired of animal shenanigans.

On Halloween I carve a pumpkin and seal him in a jar with soil from my compost bin. My students and I watch him β€œmelt down” and the seeds sprout and become vines all in his self-contained biosphere. The fungus is winning the right now.
