Yesterday in the Treasury Committee the OBR confirmed that the Chancellor's remarks on 4 Nov were entirely consistent with what the OBR were forecasting... the Tories seemed to ignore that point in today's Urgent Question

This week I met Winchester Road residents, including Katie from the Winchester Road Residents’ Association, at the site of the recent fatal collision.

I’m really pleased that my work on the Planning and Infrastructure Bill Committee has helped shape important Government amendments. These changes add new safeguards, strengthen the protections already in the Bill and clarifies how the Nature Restoration Fund will ensure positive outcomes for nature.

I was proud to take Natalie from Glisten Cosmetics - a brilliant Basingstoke-founded and based business - to Number 11 Downing Street so she could share the experiences and ideas of our local businesses directly with the Chancellor ahead of this autumn’s Budget.
