Around 70% of bald women feel misrepresented in the media, and children with visible differences face higher risks of bullying. Representation matters.

I shared the thoughts and experiences of Basingstoke parents, students and teachers on SEND with the Secretary of State for Education.

I was really pleased to hear that she is taking on board our recommendations, and that local families and professionals will help shape the changes ahead.

Was quoted in this article. Retailers should not be incentivising people to get into debt who are not able to afford it. Stricter Gov rules in July 2026 for mandatory affordability checks are much needed.

Ground rents capped at £250, new leasehold flats banned, and ground rent moving to zero over time.

It was great to host Minister Macdonald to brief the Climate Change APPG on the government's Clean Energy Jobs Plan.

I asked the Minister about how the transition to clean jobs can support bringing down energy bills and ease the cost of living.

Today I launched my SEND report The report brings together what parents, early years practitioners and SEND charities have been telling me about the reality of navigating the SEND system, and what needs to change as the Government prepares its reforms.

Good to spend time at Basingstoke College of Technology meeting Principal Anthony Bravo and the senior team to talk through current challenges, from T Levels and the new Ofsted framework to better support for young people who are not in education, employment or training.
