✅ Votes for 16 & 17 year olds for the first time
✅ Expanded Voter ID so it's easier to vote- this will include credit/debit cards
✅ A move towards automatic voter registration

Yesterday I spoke in the Child Poverty Opposition Day debate and challenged Tory Shadow Minister Danny Kruger on his record. He admitted that his government had made things worse.
One year after they left, we’re still waiting for an apology.

Yesterday I challenged the climate denial and delay from the Conservatives and Reform UK. Calling science 'garbage' and net zero 'impossible' isn’t just wrong — it’s dangerous. Only Labour has a credible plan to tackle the crisis and create tens of thousands of good green jobs. 🌍⚡️

Yesterday, the Labour Government announced a £500 million fund — the largest of its kind anywhere in the world — to support 200,000 vulnerable children.

From tackling school absence to improving mental health, this is about breaking the cycle of poverty and giving every child a fair shot.

We must adapt to this changing world - but we must also act urgently as this gov is doing, to ensure it doesn't get worse

Loved welcoming students from The Costello School to Parliament on Monday for a tour and a lively Q&A session - They came armed with thoughtful questions from issues in the middle east to housing and transport here at home as well as questions about what being an MP is like!
