As someone who wrote a taco book, a lot of people in the UK haven't ever made a taco that doesn't come from an Old El Paso kit. A tortilla press is really not a standard item there.

(To be fair, that's true in some parts of the US as well.)

I'm so sorry. Not that anyone likes being in the hospital, but I extra hate it for this reason. I've had luck with getting my Endo to intervene before. But still horrifying to be denied the thing you need to keep you healthy.

We do lentil soup with challah often for Shabbat. With lots of olive oil.
