Such fun! Especially when a character decides to take on a different role than the author had expected!

I offered my 1st book for free the first 5 days after launch... >700 copies "sold". # 2 most popular in its category!

Then when it went back to costing something, numbers fell through the floor. AND, just to add insult to injury, I got less than 10 reviews and ratings out of it!

As a whole, we are a very visually oriented culture. Also terribly attention-span challenged! 🤥

It's gonna be real tough to issue actual refunds to individual people...

How about taking that $$ and using for some "common good" thing, like paying teachers more, or better yet, by funding mandatory classes to all high schools in CIVICS and formal DEBATE!

And... are we surprised? BTW, this picture should be re-posted every time someone tries to defend Trump's intentions as "he's just looking out for us common folks!" (LOL!)

Bahh - hahaha! Re epilogue; you can always change or replace it in a few months (or years) then things slow down and re-intro it as the new version - newly edited... And put all kinds of spin on that!

Wish that was me... you've gotta have a fabulous palette of cultures, experiences, characters to draw from for your stories!

A fairly successful writer once told me, aside from don't explain everything as you go, that it's OK to have strange or surprising things happen in a story without needing explanation, sometimes ever! as long as YOU know why it is happening.
