GB News broadcasted a package last week on analysis of people with "foreign sounding" names.

Peddling unverified and racist statistics on national TV is dangerous and we must call it out.

The Liberal Democrats are calling on Ofcom to investigate and take swift action.

I want to see a brief synopsis of the careers and donors of people invited to comment on issues so we're enabled to assess their contributions without having to find their Wikipedia page or work out how to find their parliamentary declarations. His interview was soft when his wiki suggested scrutiny

Profits and dividends seem unaffected for many companies, yet they fail to invest in the infrastructure which protects their business and customers data, whilst some rely on the benefits system to enable them to employ people on insecure contracts and low pay. Insurance alone won't fix that.

My Angus was at the vets today. I was asked to stop petting him during the examination as he was purring so loudly that she couldn't hear his heartbeat.

The BBC R4 WatO choice of Labour MP to discuss this today sounded more like a Tory or Reform MP. Graham Stringer.

This is exactly what I thought. We see exactly this type of misplaced confidence all day every day, but we rarely see it from women, and when we do, it's jarring.

On The World at One today, they had Graham Stringer, a Labour MP, who I had to look up on Wikipedia to check as he sounded like a current Tory or Reform MP. Turns out he used to work in petrochemicals and is an active euro sceptic and climate change denier.

So, if I'm reading this right, consciousness is about making sense and analysing the information our nervous system feeds into the brain in order to make better use of similar information in the future. From my limited studies, it makes me think about what our adaptive immune system does.

This deserves copy all on its own. A politician who sees you, then empathises, and seeks solutions to make you comfortable and enable your participation is something we need to hear about.

I've always voted for the candidate closest to giving us the best chance of a decent society and a liveable planet and can win the seat. I couldn't vote for a party that treats people so cruelly. I'm actually feeling really alarmed about how this is going to affect friends and neighbours.

The brain can be trained, especially whilst young, but neuroplasticity decreases with age. Einstein had many more neural connections than most people, though it's unknown if those connections were the result of doing complex work or what enabled him to do such complex work.

Penny pinching, petroleum pleasing. She really needs to look at the work people like @brenttoderian.bsky.social has done and how much money cycling saves the state and benefits the people in a multitude of ways.

They should ask him if his Conservative values align with Lord Patten's as his are now considered to be somewhere on left.

I and others voted Labour because we thought he would be the calm, pragmatic, and honest person we needed to sort out the mess and bring back regulations and consequences for breaking them. They've been swayed by lobbyists and hostile media.

I wanted someone who would bring back proper oversight and upholding of regulations with the funding to do it and sanctions harsh enough to force businesses to uphold them. Pollution, finance, social media scammers, dodgy builders, and slum landlords, all solved with proper regulations and oversight

There were no reported negative health impacts of the drug in this cohort either. Giving children the time to understand themselves and choose their next steps has been politicised.

Well, it wasn't exactly fun in the 00s going out when the 'lads' at the local had been used to drinking 7 pints 'no problem' and then suddenly they were very problematic, and some continue to be, because they "drink 7 pints". So even though it is just about profits, it's a good thing.

I knew kids from my son's LGBTQ+ youth group who were on the Tavistock waiting list a decade ago. The list was so long that they were already well into puberty and suffering as a result long before getting an appointment. The blockers are used for other conditions and deemed safe.

When was it they all increased the alcohol content? Mid/late 90s, maybe? Finding a lager that felt refreshing rather than instantly pissed suddenly became really difficult.

When Evan Davis describes Lord Chris Patten as a voice on the left, and Tory MPs are likening the BBC the Taliban, I think it's time for serious public discussion about how far right the Conservative Party have shifted.

When Lord Chris Patten is described as a voice on the left on BBC PM, then yes, it's absolutely time to call them fascists.

A boy who'd subjected my son to homophobic abuse for years with no action at school was reported under that legislation once he turned 16. I think it was the wake-up call he and his family needed.
