I'm kind of bitter at Gravel Worlds. I crashed and broke my ribs and they had no sag support so I had to ride back. They did have a medical tent but no sag. For the amount they charge for registration, this seems wrong.

Maybe it is just a mountain access road or something but it looks like a single lane road after the initial bit

I bet the legal consequences for them will be minor. One of the problems with driving/drivers is that there aren't strong enough laws (or enforcement) to discourage them from doing dangerous things.

It's fine until the pile gets tall enough that stuff starts cascading off the top. The rest of the house is orderly, but not my kit pile.

It's better when it's just in a giant heap. It's easier to find the stuff you need because the regular stuff ends up at the top of the pile. 😉

I do a lot of long training rides by myself and it is sort of diverting (and good training) to watch my head unit and see how close to constant I can keep my Z2 power even on hills, descents etc.

I'm rather obsessed with my power meters, but I can see it being freeing not to be.
