I would say that they have different personalities cat to cat, just like people, that I guess are part nature and part nurture (and what you said is an important part of the latter)

One of our cats follows my wife around and tries to do every chore with her. They also play chase, and hide and go seek, and she likes to get pulled around in a wagon. It's pretty cute. Our other cat doesn't get it. Very different personalities.

Agreed. It's safer for the cats and safer for the wildlife. I love the little bastards but they belong indoors.

One ingredient we have been using a lot is halloumi cheese. One can grill it and chuck it on top of some roasted vegetables with a vinaigrette and it feels kind of fancy, but not much work.
