Good, though uncomfortable truth, here.
Labour has a responsibility to gain a second term. It's when the most good can be done.
For the many.....
1 The uncomfortable truth is the people of our country are not as welcoming to "others" as you might imagine.
2 Govts in a democracy must govern by consent, which means not moving far away from majority views.
3 It would be irresponsible not to gain a vital 2nd term, when the most good can be done
Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is βdividingβ this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once Iβd love to hear someone say βthis issue is divisive, which is why Iβm making the argument that kindness and compassion is importantβ

My photo shows a small pouring vessel carved in the shape of a duck from a single piece of clear rock crystal. The handle is formed from the duckβs gracefully curved neck and head which turns backwards towards the body of the vessel so that the beak rests on the rim of the bowl. The duckβs body forms the bowl of the vessel which is oval in shape and tapering inwards towards the tail which forms a pouring spout. Measurements: length 13.2 cm, height 4.2β4.7 cm. This unique vessel was found in a female burial; Grave O, Grave Circle B, Mycenae, Greece, during the 1952-54 excavations. It was found in several pieces and has been reconstructed. On display at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.
Luxurious duck-shaped vessel carved from a single piece of rock crystal around 3,500 years ago!
From Bronze Age Mycenae, it is said to be an exquisite example of imported Minoan stoneworking. Probably used to hold oils or cosmetics.

But what about our currently government? They are doing well, but are you talking about it and tell others?
Or just sitting back annoyed at all the detractors trying to bring the government down?

The finale of the great TV comedy show Blackadder goes Forth.
Back then I didn't expect one of the funniest programmes ever to end with a scene that makes me cry every time I see it.
Every single time.
Climate change & global warming
Ed gives us reasons to be hopeful: that measures are working.
But there is much more to do - and Labour are doing just that here in the UK.
But more importantly they are aiming to be world leaders to get other countries to take the necessary steps as well.
Mr O'Brien @lbc.co.uk has just realised the effect of flags everywhere but castigates Starmer for not realising immediately. This is what Starmer said James, he didn't just say he liked flags, do better.

The BBC may be an imperfect media organisation, but it's our imperfect media organisation.
As Licence Payers, British people will bitterly resent paying a single dime to any foreign power.
Time for a cross party approach to defend the BBC's future.

Yes!
But isn't this also an opportunity to make positive appointments?
On the other hand, your granddaughter is not a Cabinet Minister who needs to avoid giving any excuse to Trump to harm the lives of UK citizens with his vindictive cazy tarriffs.
Nor does she have to avoid the obvious anti Labour follow up question comparing Starmer to Mamdani.
