There's a new Star Trek due to come out and a new Doctor Who spin off and I don't care. I can rationalise why I don't (I binge watched Legacy Trek then got into the books and so new stuff isn't the continuity I care about. I gave up Doctor Who in the Chibnall era then had no faith in RTD)
