This is how I’ve felt playing ARC this weekend. Why are you shooting me? I have nothing of value. That said I’ve played for hours because a couple of times I’ve prox chatted “don’t shoot don’t shoot” and then that person and I go around looting and extract together and that feels like magic.

Yeah, I dunno 250 days feels like a lot especially when so much of my life was wrapped up around beer. I’m going to back to painting tiny army men a real man’s hobby.

I’ve gotten back into other hobbies I enjoy with the money I’ve saved by not buying a few four packs every week and it’s been great for my mental health. I’ve been working out 5-6 days a week and I think alcohol would only impede the physical progress I’ve been making.

Maybe once I know that I’m in a much better place I can enjoy the occasional beer or pour of Bourbon but the days of fixing cocktails while watching TV or having a couple 16oz 7% beers while playing video games are over.

Today is day 250 without alcohol. Do I miss it? Not really. I do have dreams about sitting in a tap room and having one beer and maybe one day that can happen again but I’ve made incredible strides in my physical and mental health over the last 8 months.

But I believe that logo was on glassware again recently soooooooo

Yeah I would say I picked it up in…..2012? Maybe 2013.

My willi with the same logo faded like that, the glass had to be 10 years old.

It’s better or at least as good. I would Sam Adams might nail the mouthfeel a bit more than Athletic, but that one also keeps getting better.

Walked into the grocery store yesterday and saw all the Fall beers and it’s the most I’ve wanted to have a beer in 240 days. I left with a 12 pack of Just the Haze, hopefully it helps.

In the late 2000’s this beer was just called Summertime Ale with nothing to suggest the style. I loved it and would continue to love Kolsch not knowing this was the first one I ever had.
