No need for a trade, I don’t really drink much other than bourbon and vino these days and that’s fairly sporadic. I’m more than happy to share some fresh beer solely for the sake of spreading a little joy.

Hop Butcher is probably one of the best IPA focused breweries this side of Other Half. They make a zillion different IPAs, Doubles, and Triples so we get a lot of super fresh stuff from them. Another solid primarily IPA brewery we get is Triptych.

You can also check out Pinch Penny Liquors, Carbondale, IL on untapped. I don’t update it every day but I try to add and delete at least once a week.

If trying craft beer is your jam holler at me. I own a liquor store and I’ve got a ton of fun Midwest stuff like Hop Butcher, Mikerphone, Narrow Gauge, etc that I’d be more than happy to send some free sample cans of.

The highlight of my day is an @hamshooz.ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.ooo thread that has devolved into a discussion on Overalls. Bourbon, weed, and overalls are my fields of expertise.

Honestly, Carhartt makes some pretty great overalls and you can almost always find them on sale somewhere. Oddly enough though their sizes run fairly small. My #1 tip: whatever brand you buy make sure they have elastic shoulder straps. It’s a whole different experience being able to move freely.

I’m not averse to spending top dollar for a quality product that’s made in USA. The actual best overalls I’ve ever bought are from Engineered Garments but they’re so expensive that it’s painful. Another great option for durable but not cheap is Iron & Resin. They use super beefy canvas and denim.

The best inexpensive yet durable overalls I’ve ever owned were from REI. Pretty sure they’ve disco’d them, but up until a few months ago you could still find them at the REI Outlet for like $50. I’ll have to check out Zace now.

Are those Lems shoes you’re wearing? If so how do you like them?

For me the highlight is the fluffy patterned socks and hoodies. I work the job I work because part of the non-quantifiable pay is being allowed to show up like a slob in a hoodie, overalls, fluffy socks and clogs. As you pointed out extra pockets in overalls certainly don’t hurt the cause.

Whoever made that rig does some fantastic line and pattern work. Simple symmetrical pattern work is often the most complicated.

Legitimately…. what the fuck did y’all think you were signing up for when you decided to spend a fortune to climb the world’s highest peak? Are these people stupid or just blissfully unaware of the realities of Everest. There’s a graveyard of qualified climbers and sherpas the whole way up.

This story about the “hikers” stuck on Everest is certainly something. It’s apparent to me that more people need to read Ed Webster’s Snow in the Kingdom before they decide that owning a Gore Tex Shell and possessing a large savings account are the only requisites for such a monumental trek.

4 more sleeps until the Little Grassy Get Down. There’s no big headliner at our little local festy…. just a bunch of great bands playing their tunes at a sleepaway camp. I see tons of shows and this little festival is still one of the highlights of my year. Hooray for Little Grassy Get Down Week.

What’s the most Banana Terp Strain that you’ve ever smoked/vaped/dabbed? For me it’s the original Banana Punch #9 from Symbiotic. Unfortunately the seeds are useless. I’ve popped $150+ pack after pack from various banks and they’re all duds. Anywho I need a new option. Anyone have a favorite?

Of course that was at Mempho. I had to skip the weekend to work on repairing a roof before the rain rolls in tomorrow. Worst part…. I was in Memphis on Friday and dropped someone off at the gate before driving 4 hours home.
