There’s no way the MOG could be marked by Microsoft forms, it’s 5 long answer questions with explanations (if you’re referring to the MOG)

As Dani said, too many students to mark an Olympiad style paper and not enough markers. BMO1 is around 2000 and MOG was 5000. They have introduced the Maths Competition for Girls which will be computer marked but the limit to 4 mog entries hurts the most. I will volunteer myself to mark to help them

Maybe, definitely something to look at, but for now UKMT have limited us to strictly 4 entries. Last year we funded 30 students to enter so the funding on my end isn’t the issue

This is my current backup plan tbh, but I have a couple of students who were close to medals this year so may miss out. I don’t have any way of knowing in advance which students to select to enter for the real thing

Which students are counted in this? Our college alone had more students that 16 doing maths, further, physics & comp sci last year
