I don’t think the secure idle would work for FD in case someone on the crew needs to move the truck (I’m not familiar with what the driver does once they get to a scene)

I had the same thought the pups were in the backyard when some were set off and I ran up to figure out what was going on

I know police and EHS have a secure idle system that locks the doors but keeps the engine running but I’m not sure about the fire trucks because they are built all custom and multiple people might need to access the truck

We had three dogs at one point (two huskies and a lab whippet) they were between 60-80 pounds it was an adventure getting 4 is insanely fun if you have the time and space.

😂 if he doesn’t leave by Monday you can tip the bin over slowly and open it from the top (door opens toward the sky) they usually waddle out and away. They get stuck in there and can’t get out and usually get dumped in the truck with the bin goo and more than likely get smooshed 😞
