Ask Kamala Harris how Newsomβs βaddition not subtractionβ strategy worked out last time. Do you think she won more voters than she lost by pledging to appoint a Republican to her cabinet?

5) My own analysis shows canvassing yields a ~2-3 percentage point vote share increase.
3) My comment was more about leftists who think we just need to tweak a message or go full populist to reap massive electoral gains? They really haven't met many voters who don't think like them... other than uncles and cousins they despise and write-off.
03.12.2025 23:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0For sure, but a lot to unpack.
1) Paying doorknockers doesn't work. They often don't know the candidates and only perform a litdrop. Not sure it's more effective than mailers.
2) Having lots of doorknocking vols reflects a foundation of activated folks; so a reflection of pre-existing support.

30.11.2025 22:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0At the end of the day, if we can use Epstein to bury Trump, that's great, but I also want the hides of the Dems who took a pass on it for years.
There's no excuse for us to be going through the current hellscape because a bigwig consultancy shrugged it off.
Something I can't stop thinking about is this:
Who in Democratic Party leadership understood how pervasive Trump's presence in the Epstein files was and when? (2019? 2020?)
Why wasn't this used to bury him in either 2020 or 2024?
Did they demure because it was unseemly? Protecting other Dems?
